Norway Holds Lead After Three Rounds of Toyota Junior Golf World Cup
supported by JAL

USAfs Cauley still atop individual leaderboard

TOYOTA CITY, Japan - By carding the lowest round of the tournament - a 13-under 200 - Norway moved into first place following the third round of the Toyota Junior Golf World Cup supported by JAL. The Norwegians became the third different European country to lead after a round (Denmark and England). In the individual competition, American Bud Cauley maintained his lead by carding a 4-under 67. He currently sits at 11-under - two shots in front of Norwayfs Elias Bertheussen (-9)

Using a 65 from Bertheussen, a 67 from Frederik Kollevold and a 68 from defending-individual champion Anders Kristiansen, Norway vaulted from fourth to first place. Trailing them is second-round leader England at minus-14. Australia, Korea and Sweden are in a tie for third at 12-under. The United States (-11), Argentina (-8) and first-round leader Denmark (-8) round out the teams below par.

Behind Cauley and Bertheussen are two golfers at 7-under - Norwayfs Kristiansen and Daniel Nisbet of Australia. Kim Bi-O of Korea, Englandfs Stiggy Hodgson and Tomoya Tokunaga of Japan are tied for fifth at minus-6. Swedenfs Pontus Widegren sits in eighth at 5-under.

Completing the field in the team competition were Japan (E), India (+3), South Africa (+5), New Zealand (+6), Colombia (+16), Mexico (+27), Guatemala (+29) and Kenya (+42).

The final round tees off at 8 AM Saturday.
